The devil is a better theologian...

I shared this thought today with a 'friend' on FaceBook, ie. someone I don't really know, who sought feedback on the following:

The devil is a better theologian than any of us and is a devil still.”.....A.W.Tozer......I welcome your thoughts.

Rather than truth, people tend to prefer quaint and cute little stories.  My response, naturally, was neither, and was as follows:

Ironically, this can (and has been) be used as a charge or accusation against those who point out uncomfortable bits of Scriptural truth that people would otherwise prefer to avoid. Be careful with it's implementation, that it not become a tool of ego defense.
